We had an exicting week celebrating Cooper's 6th and Shelby's 4th birthday (they have the same birthday: February 9). Cooper is just like his Dad and wanted a nice small party, so I decided to do 3 small parties this year instead of one big one. It ended up being much more work, but it was worth it because Cooper and Shelby enjoyed it much more! We had Shelby's Princess Tea Party Thursday morning, the family party Friday night, and Cooper's Pirate Party Saturday morning.
Cooper and Shelby were both in agreement on their favorite restuarant. They wanted to go to Cici's Pizza on Friday night. My Mom, Scott's parents, my brother Kirt, his wife, Kimberly, their little girl, Anna, my brother Kenny and his fiance, Lesley were all able to come. Then we came home and had the icecream cake Nana got. Saturday, Cooper and 5 of his friends had lots of fun decorating pirate flags, having a cannonball fight (with sock 'balls' and a pirate hideout we made out of a big box), and hunting for treasure.
